Cookies and storage

This notice explains cookies and similar storage used by Anglo Ascot Group. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage lets a website keep information on your device.

Public website and optional tracking

Optional analytics and advertising tracking are off. The public website does not load Google Analytics, and the online Office Tracker does not load analytics. You do not need an account to browse the public pages or use the online tracker.

There is no optional tracking to accept or reject at present, so we do not display an analytics consent banner. Storage needed to provide a feature you choose to use is explained below.

Office Tracker records saved in your browser

The online Office Tracker saves the company names, dates, document checklist states and notes you enter in this browser on this device. It uses local storage named aag.office-tracker.web.v1. It also keeps one previous local copy, named aag.office-tracker.web.v1.previous, before a deletion or backup import to help you recover from a mistake.

This storage is used to provide the tracker you have chosen to use. It is not used for advertising or visitor tracking. The tracker does not upload these records to Anglo Ascot Group or sync them between devices.

These records have no automatic expiry. They remain until you erase them in the tracker, clear this website's browser storage, or your browser removes them. A deleted record can remain in the previous local copy. Use the tracker's erase-all control to remove both the current records and that local copy. Clearing browser storage also removes both.

Exported backup and CSV files are separate copies on your device. Deleting records in the tracker does not delete files you have downloaded. Protect and delete those files yourself. If you put them in a shared or synced folder, that folder's access and storage settings apply.

Blocking browser storage stops the tracker from saving records between visits. Private browsing or automatic browser cleanup may remove them. Keep a separate backup of anything you need.

Essential security and administration

Cloudflare services may use cookies needed to protect the website and authenticate authorised editors. Cloudflare Access uses an authentication cookie, CF_Authorization, for protected administration and private content. This is for security and access, rather than advertising.

The enquiry form uses server-side checks to discourage spam and repeated submissions. It does not need optional analytics cookies.

Analytics choices if analytics is introduced

Before enabling optional analytics, we will update this notice with the provider, purpose and storage details. The website's consent controls keep optional analytics off until you accept it and let you change your choice.

If used, the consent control stores only your analytics choice and the time of that choice in local storage named aag-consent-v1 (or a later consent-version number). The website honours that choice for 180 days before asking again. The local entry can remain in browser storage until it is replaced or you delete it. It is not a tracker record.

Browser controls and questions

You can inspect, block or delete this website's cookies and storage in your browser's privacy settings. Blocking essential authentication storage may prevent authorised editors from using Website Studio.
