KLYPTA is an AAG interactive signal-fiction project built around transmissions, choices and a continuing record. It explores how a story can remain meaningful across several visits rather than ending with a single page. The project is in invite-only closed beta. Unpublished episodes, detailed mechanics and classification logic remain private.
THE PROBLEM & THE PURPOSE
An ongoing interactive story has a different problem from a conventional article. A reader may return after a gap, need to understand the current incident and want to see how earlier choices relate to the continuing experience. If the interface shows every piece of history at once, the immediate task becomes hard to find. If it hides the record completely, the story loses continuity.
KLYPTA explores an intake, a focused console and an archive. Those parts have different roles: introduction, present activity and remembered context. The surveillance-themed fiction gives the product its character, while the structure supports the ordinary need to know where to begin and where to return.
This is a creative product investigation. It is not a published claim about audience retention, educational impact or the effectiveness of a psychological model.
PROJECT SCOPE
A practical view of the scope at the stated stage.
An introductory choice sequence leads towards a focused view of the current incident and signal window. The structure is intended to make the next relevant action visible.
Serialised story material is connected with a continuing record of responses. The archive provides context without requiring every past event to occupy the current screen.
Patterns develop through participation and shape what follows. The detailed rules are private during beta and are not disclosed in this public project profile.
EXPLAINED VISUALLY
This original schematic describes the published product direction at a high level. It does not reveal episode content, private classification rules or unreleased story branches. Every step belongs to the closed-beta concept rather than a public availability promise.
DESIGN DECISIONS
Fiction can be mysterious while an interface remains understandable. A reader may be uncertain about a character’s motives, but should not be uncertain about whether a choice was recorded or where to find the current episode. That distinction guides the relationship between the story world and the controls supporting it.
The archive also needs a considered role. It should help a returning reader recover enough context to continue, rather than becoming an administrative log that interrupts the fiction. The console can then focus on what matters in the current visit.
A useful beta observation would ask where readers lose their place, which labels create uncertainty and whether the relationship between a new transmission and an earlier choice is understood. These are proposed evaluation questions, not results already measured.
EVIDENCE & LIMITS
KLYPTA is an AAG product in invite-only closed beta. It is not publicly active and no release date is announced. This page presents the high-level direction already described publicly, with an original schematic rather than private product captures.
No audience size, completion rate or retention statistic is claimed. Unpublished stories, detailed mechanics and classification logic remain private during development.
OUR TAKE
A persistent experience needs a way to preserve meaning, not just stored data. That principle also applies to business tools: returning users should recognise what changed and what needs attention. DETAILS
The project remains invite-only and in closed beta. No public opening date is advertised.
No. The public case study explains the design problem while keeping unpublished episodes and detailed mechanics private.
