OUR SERVICES

Bespoke business systems.

Shared records, job tracking, documents and focused dashboards for a business whose process needs more than a spreadsheet.

BESPOKE BUSINESS SYSTEMS

A defined part of the operation.

A bespoke system is useful where an existing product leaves repeated workarounds. We start with the people, process and records involved, then agree the smallest practical scope. Existing software remains an option where it fits.

WHAT THIS CAN INCLUDE

Purpose built. Clearly scoped.

Components are agreed individually before delivery.

01

A shared operational record

Jobs, customers, documents and current stages visible to the people who need them.

02

Working tools

Intake, scheduling, approvals and stage changes with the rules your team uses.

03

Focused dashboards

A practical view of recurring decisions, based on the records held in the system.

04

Document handling

Uploads, generated paperwork and agreed records of changes attached to the relevant work.

05

Supported integrations

Connections to accounting, scheduling or payment tools where their interfaces permit.

06

Written handover

Source code, documentation, hosting and support responsibilities defined in the contract.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you commit.

Should we build or buy?

Where an established product fits the way you work, we will say so. A build is justified by a specific operational gap.

How is a build priced?

Defined phases have a written scope and quote. Changes are discussed, costed and approved before they proceed.

Do we have to replace everything?

No. A project can start with one part of the operation and connect with supported tools already in use.

What happens after delivery?

Ownership, licences, hosting, handover and any ongoing support are set out in the scope and contract.

DELIVERY & OPERATION

Define the record before the dashboard.

A job record might need an owner, a stage, required documents and a history of changes. Those rules determine the screens and permissions. We agree the essential workflow first, including what happens when information is missing, a job is cancelled or a member of staff leaves.

Data migration, integrations and ongoing support are scoped separately where needed. Before handover, the business needs to know who administers users, how records can be exported and how recovery is handled. Read how we work or use the buy, build or integrate guide to compare the options.

PRACTICAL NEXT STEPS

Operational dashboards and document tracking.

A useful dashboard answers a question that leads to an action: what is missing, what is due, who owns the next step or which record needs checking. Before choosing a chart, define the underlying record, the meaning of its status and the person responsible for keeping it current. A visually impressive total is unhelpful if nobody can explain what it includes.

Document tracking is similarly practical. The system may need to distinguish a requested document, a received file and a checked record. Access, replacement, naming and export behaviour need an agreed scope. Examples can be demonstrated with fictional records before private business documents are involved.
